Nirmala Nivas
Young girls with cerebral palsy, autism, intellectual disabilities, and locomotor disabilities live in two different buildings. They attend daily physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and pack therapy sessions. They also go to Manus Domini Special School along with day scholar students. The children are divided into different groups—academic, playgroup, pre-vocational, and vocational—based on their abilities.
In the afternoons, they play carrom, solve puzzles, and draw with colors, supported by the Didis. Some of them move along the pathways using walkers or wheelchairs to improve their mobility.
Ananda Dhara – Big Girls' Home
Primary section girls attend Shanti Rani Primary School, Mogradangi, while high school students go to the local government high school. On Sunday afternoons, they play with the Nirmala Nivas children and escort them to the garden in their free time.
All the girls practice dance, singing, drawing, and sewing. They also help in the kitchen in the mornings, do housekeeping, gardening, rear goats, and harvest vegetables.
Jeevanpath
Men with severe deformities stay at Dos Bigha and require round-the-clock care and attention. Some of them are unable to move and need constant assistance.
Twice a week, they attend Alor Path Vocational Centre, where they engage in spice packaging, envelope-making, and paper packet production. Every day, they listen to music, watch TV, and walk to Nirmala Nivas for recreation. Two of them assist Dada with gardening and goat rearing. They always stay together as a big family.
