“Never ignore somebody with a disability. You don’t realize how much they can inspire you”
Every year, we celebrate the World Disabled Day. It is a special day for our children. Working for the integrated growth of the challenged children is our priority. And this day is very important for us to tell them how they are precious for our World.
In Howrah, all the children from our four Homes were gathered together in Ashaneer. They played together and received a small gift.
In Jalpaiguri, the children of Mogradangi Home and the resident of Jeevan Path came to Bakuabari Home to celebrate the World Disabled Day together. Father Lawrence celebrated the Mass. Then, we shared a good lunch together and we enjoyed a small cultural programme. After a small procession in the Home, the children performed dance and they all received small gifts.
In Jordighi Home, a programme was organized and the boys drew beautiful drawings for the occasion.
In this difficult period due to COVID-19, it is great for the children to celebrate and remember what is important in our lives. It was a beautiful day for all and our children spent a great time!
