On Friday the 3rd, Howrah South Point celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We demonstrated in the street around Ashaneer home. Children were very happy. After the demonstration we had special dances from HSP children. Then we played during the whole morning.
This day is special for HSP as we have been trying to make the life of disabled children as good as any children, because we are all the same. It is our priority to do not put disabled people aside but include them: 10% of HSP staffs are disabled.
What is more, HSP knows how much gathering destitute and disabled children makes a better world. It develops their empathy and their acceptation of difference. They take care and learn a lot from each other.
Thank you for you support.
